About Roe Fund
The Roe Fund, a service of the Oklahoma Religious coalition for Reproductive choice, Inc, is named after the landmark Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in 1973. The Roe Fund has been assisting women for over 20 years. The Roe fund gives financial assistance to nearly 300 women every year who otherwise could not have afforded an abortion.
Roe Fund's Community
Each year, the Roe Fund provides direct financial help to Oklahoma women seeking abortion services. We are the only organization in the state helping women and their families access the reproductive healthcare they need. We work with abortion clinics in our region to help pay for the procedures and also have volunteers who support the women through our Peaceful Presence.
Oklahoma’s abortion laws are among the nation’s most restrictive, so the Roe Fund plays a critical role in helping women access abortion care. With only a few clinics in the state, women often are required to travel long distances to receive care.
