The Frontera Fund has been forced to pause direct funding of abortion care while we evaluate the impact of the June 2022 Supreme Court decision.

To get support from Frontera Fund, you must be a resident of the Rio Grande Valley or any border community or have an appointment for your abortion at the Whole Woman’s Health in McAllen, TX. There are a few ways to contact us:

About Frontera Fund

Frontera Fund is a practical support and financial assistance abortion fund for people residing in the Rio Grande Valley or people traveling to Whole Woman’s Health McAllen for their abortion. Frontera Fund believes that all people should have autonomy over their own bodies, the right to make a family in the way that is best for them. Frontera Fund knows that many barriers to abortion access and reproductive justice exist at the intersections of immigration, class, race and gender. Frontera Fund offers direct and practical support to address the economic barriers and supports community organizing in environmental, labor, land and reproductive justice. Frontera Fund is a not-for-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)3 organization but is organized horizontally and rejects the values of capitalism in our infrastructure and practice.

Our mission is to make abortion accessible in the Rio Grande Valley by providing financial and practical support regardless of immigration status, gender identity, ability, sexual orientation, race, class, age, or religious affiliation and to build grassroots organizing power at intersecting issues across our region to shift the culture of shame and stigma.
