About deProsse Access Fund of the Emma Goldman Clinic

A member of the Feminist Abortion Network, the Emma Goldman Clinic is a nonprofit organization founded in 1973 by a group of feminist idealists who strove for political, economic, and social equality for their clients. The Emma Goldman Clinic recognizes that for many women, access to safe, quality, healthcare is hindered by low income, a dangerous home situation, or the inability to use family insurance for abortion, and has established the Access Fund to help ensure that all women can get the care they need.

deProsse Access Fund of the Emma Goldman Clinic's Community

Last year, the deProsse Access Fund helped almost 900 women who otherwise could not have paid for their abortions.

In addition to a sliding-fee scale for low-income women, the Emma Goldman Clinic offers free pregnancy testing and options counseling as well as discounted services for students and teens.
