CASN has been forced to pause our work while we evaluate the impact of the June 2022 Supreme Court decision.

If you are in Houston or have an abortion-related appointment at a Houston-area clinic, Clinic Access Support Network may be able to assist you with free transportation to your appointment, funding for childcare, housing accommodations, and other financial assistance. They can also provide help finding the right clinic, and getting an appointment.

To get assistance from the Clinic Access Support Network, you can:

About Clinic Access Support Network

CASN began as a practical support organization, mobilizing the power of a volunteer base to provide transportation, housing, and compassionate care to callers seeking assistance in accessing abortion care. CASN has maintained those services and recently has also expanded to include assistance with food and childcare needs along with procedure funding.

Clinic Access Support Network's Community

CASN relies on a base of volunteers around the Houston area to arrange and provide rides to clinics; support events and fundraising; work on grant applications; support social media; train other volunteers; represent CASN at convenings; and volunteer on our working Board. CASN welcomes interest in volunteering in many capacities and can always find a purpose for your skillset! Since 2013, CASN has assisted thousands of people seeking abortions in getting the care they chose.
